The TON network has experienced serious congestion due to the Tonano inscription minting, and the minting and multiple wallets have been suspended.
On December 8th, The Block reported that after the introduction of the Ordinals-inspired protocol Tonado on the TON network earlier this week, which led to a surge in activity, the transaction processing on the network experienced long delays.
According to monitoring data from the blockchain status monitoring robot dTON, the problem began on Tuesday afternoon, and as of Thursday afternoon, there were more than 2.5 million transactions waiting to be processed, and the transaction processing speed of the TON blockchain dropped to less than 1 transaction per second. This situation forced the TON cryptocurrency wallets Wallet and Tonkeeper to suspend their services.
It is reported that Tonano is a protocol that creates blockchain inscriptions using the TON-20 token standard on the TON blockchain, but currently the protocol has had to stop its minting activities.
