Do Kwon may be extradited to the United States in mid-March this year
Bloomberg reported that Do Kwon, co-founder of Terraform Labs, may be extradited to the United States in mid-March and face charges of planning a $40 billion cryptocurrency fraud scheme.
Currently, Do Kwon is seeking to postpone the January 29th trial of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's similar charges against him and Terraform. The lawyer stated that postponing the trial until mid-March would give Do Kwon a "realistic chance" to appear in court. Do Kwon is currently facing extradition requests from both the United States and South Korea, and South Korean prosecutors have also charged him with a crime.
