Former CEO of Binance, Zhao Changpeng, has not yet been imprisoned due to criminal justice system procedures and the Fifth Amendment's protection of due process. According to the judge's ruling, Zhao Changpeng "should surrender himself for imprisonment after being notified by the probation or pre-trial service office." However, the notification has not been issued yet. The aforementioned office has been conducting a statutory review of the applicability of Zhao Changpeng's personal situation at the SeaTac Federal Detention Center and Prison in Seattle-Tacoma International Airport to avoid any legal remedies resulting from the failure to provide constitutionally mandated due process.
