Gala Games founder: GALA Ethereum contract is safe, and is working with the FBI and other agencies to track down the attacker
Gala Games, a Web3 gaming platform co-founder, tweeted that the platform was hacked, resulting in 600 million GALA tokens ($21 million) being sold without authorization and $4.4 billion tokens being destroyed. We discovered the vulnerability and removed unauthorized access to the GALA contract within 45 minutes. It is worth noting that our GALA Ethereum contract is secure and protected by a multi-signature wallet. We messed up internal controls, and the team is taking measures to ensure it doesn't happen again. We believe we have identified the attacker and are currently working with the FBI, the US Department of Justice, and some international organizations.
