Founder and entrepreneur Justin Sun is still ate banana, which was bought a few days ago at auction for the fantastic sum of $6,2 million. This newfangled work of art was part of the “Comedian” collection by the Italian artist Maurizio Cattelan.
Even though the crypto enthusiast ate a banana, this does not mean that he lost the art object as such, since he has a certificate of authenticity for it.
Thus, he can change the fruit at any time, since the value is in the way the object is established and its authenticity is confirmed.
Justin Sun also commented on the New York Times article about fruit seller Shah Alam, at whose kiosk a banana was bought for $0,25. According to the businessman, he bought 100,000 bananas from him for $25,000 as a sign of gratitude for such a tasty and healthy fruit.
After the crypto enthusiast bought the fruit, the community began to debate heatedly about whether it was worth spending several million dollars on a single banana and whether it would have been better spent on a more noble cause.
However, Sun himself previously stated that his actions were, to some extent, a mockery of the crypto industry and the memecoins that have flooded the market.
