On October 10, U.S. stocks continued to rise after the release of the Federal Reserve meeting minutes. The S&P 500 index rose 0.5%, the Dow Jones index rose 0.9%, and the Nasdaq index rose 0.38%.

 

In the foreign exchange market, the USD/JPY rose 10 points in the short term to 149.25. Currently, the USD/JPY is at 149.23, up 0.7%. Meanwhile, the EUR /USD remained largely unchanged, down 0.37% on the day to 1.0939. Additionally, the yield on the U.S. two-year Treasury note slightly decreased to 4.011%.
