Salus Security Lianchuang: The privacy functions provided by ZKP can be applied to the Ethereum main network
A study by Salus Security co-founder Mirror Tang and his colleagues shows that the privacy function provided by zero-knowledge proofs (ZKP) can be applied to the Ethereum mainnet. Tang said the research indicates that if we can use computational optimization to incorporate ZKP technology into the Solidity compiler, we can significantly reduce the gas fees of Ethereum itself. As a result, transaction activity will be concentrated in the main network rather than scattered across different L2 ecosystems.
