The single-day gas fee on the Ethereum EVM chain has recently surged to $8.3 million, a record high
The number of inscriptions on the Ethereum EVM chain has surged, leading to a sharp increase in gas fees. According to data from Dune, on December 16th, the gas fee for inscriptions reached a record high of $8.3 million.
Among them, the gas fee for inscriptions on the Avalanche network was the highest, exceeding $5.6 million in a single day; Arbitrum One ranked second, with a gas fee for inscriptions of $2.1 million.
In the past 24 hours, 58% of Avalanche's network gas fees were related to EVM inscriptions, while this figure was 48% on zkSync Era and 73% on BNB Chain.
