Hong Kong Investment Council: 74% of Hong Kong people surveyed believe that virtual assets are an investment trend, but 3/4 seek short-term returns
The Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission conducted further research on retail investors' investment behavior and attitudes towards virtual assets in the "Retail Investor Study 2023" conducted this year. Among them, about three-quarters of the surveyed virtual asset investors indicated that they invested in virtual assets to pursue short-term returns (75%), believed that virtual assets are an investment trend (74%), and were worried about missing investment opportunities (73%). The survey also revealed that although most investors have good financial management knowledge, there is still room for improvement and reflection on their financial behavior and attitudes.
