NFT sales will reach US$8.7 billion in 2023, a 63.35% decrease from 2022
As reported by Bitcoin.com, the total sales of NFTs in 2023 reached 8.7 billion US dollars, which is a decrease of 63.35% compared to last year's 23.74 billion US dollars. However, the number of NFT transactions skyrocketed to 90,607,554 in 2023, exceeding the 54,857,850 transactions in 2022.According to data from Cryptoslam, the number of NFT sellers in 2023 was 4.16 million, and the number of buyers was 4.97 million. Overall, the total sales of NFTs on the Bitcoin chain have climbed to fourth place, with total sales of 1.83 billion US dollars. The total annual sales of NFTs on the Ethereum chain were 42.12 billion US dollars, ranking first, followed by Solana (4.62 billion US dollars) and Ronin (4.25 billion US dollars). Despite the growth in NFT sales related to BTC, the Axie Infinity series still maintains its best-selling position.
