JP Morgan: Spot Bitcoin ETF could attract up to $36 billion in existing crypto investment vehicles
JPMorgan Chase believes that physically-backed Bitcoin ETFs traded in the United States are not expected to attract a large amount of new capital. Instead, they may attract up to $36 billion in funds from existing cryptocurrency tools. The JPMorgan Chase analyst team stated that this figure includes $3 billion in fund inflows from Bitcoin futures-based ETFs, $3 billion to $13 billion in fund inflows from GBTC, and up to $15-20 billion in funds from retail investors transferring from digital wallets on cryptocurrency exchanges/retail brokers to physically-backed Bitcoin ETFs.
