According to Jacquelyn Melinek, a TechCrunch reporter citing PitchBook data, the total amount of cryptocurrency funds raised in January 2024 was $676.61 million, a 27.4% decrease from $932.4 million in January 2023. Among them, 131 companies completed 132 transactions, with a median transaction size of $3 million and a median post-financing valuation of $64.85 million. The top 5 rounds of digital asset financing in January 2024 were:
1. HashKe Group raised $100 million with a valuation of about $1.2 billion;
2. Freechat raised $80 million with a valuation of $800 million;
3. Flowdesk raised $50 million with an undisclosed valuation;
4. Sygnum Bank raised $40 million with a valuation of $900 million;
5. WaveBL raised $37 million with a valuation of $70 million.
