According to PeckShield's monitoring, in January 2024, hackers stole about 182.54 million US dollars through more than 30 attacks, a year-on-year increase of 771.39% compared to January 2023 (a total of 20.95 million US dollars). ZachXBT reported that Chris Larsen Ripple was hacked on January 31st, with about 213 million XRP stolen (11.25 million US dollars), making it the largest hacking event in the first month of this year.
