Türkiye plans to introduce crypto industry rules
Turkey is preparing a comprehensive regulatory plan for the cryptocurrency industry, aimed at protecting users while promoting innovation in the industry. Ömer Ileri, who is responsible for overseeing AK Party information and communication technology, stated that conducting "legal research" on cryptocurrency assets is very important for protecting consumers and promoting innovation in this field. Turkey has grand plans in various technology fields such as blockchain and artificial intelligence. In January of this year, Turkish Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek stated that the government has almost completed the technical research for the cryptocurrency legislation plan.
