Tether: USDT is issued on multiple chains, and these blockchains are just the transport layer for USDT
Tether, the stablecoin issuer, did not provide a clear answer on whether it will stop supporting the Tron network after Circle announced on Tuesday that it would stop minting stablecoins on the Tron chain. When asked about Circle's comments and whether Tether is considering similar measures, Tether stated in a statement that USDT tokens are issued on multiple blockchains, and these blockchains are simply a transmission layer for such tokens. Tether reserves the ability to freeze transactions on each directly supported transmission layer to fulfill its compliance responsibilities. Nevertheless, Tether still actively monitors the security of each supported transmission layer to ensure that our community meets the highest standards.
