Sam Altman: We will continue to promote the development of OpenAI and thank interim CEO Mira and President Greg for their support.
On March 9th, Sam Altman wrote about his experience of "returning to the OpenAI board of directors", saying that he learned a lot from it. When he confirmed that the behavior of a former board member had harmed OpenAI, he should have handled the situation with more grace and caution. Sam apologized for this and hoped that he could have taken a different approach at the time. He is currently working on important tasks and is eager to show them to users.
In his tweet, Sam Altman specially thanked OpenAI's interim CEO Mira Murati and President Greg Brockman for their support, saying that "it's not comfortable hiding in the trenches, but it's much better with Mira Murati and Greg Brockman together." Previously, former President Greg Brockman publicly announced his resignation in support of Sam Altman after learning about his dismissal, and Mira Murati also made a lot of efforts as interim CEO in the company for Sam Altman's return.
