dYdX has announced the launch of dYdX Chain v4.0, which includes various upgrades to the protocol's features, risks, governance, and performance. Important updates include support for only liquidation orders, IBC withdrawal rate limits, sub-account withdrawal controls, and punishment functions enabled by governance. At the same time, Cosmos SDK has been upgraded to v0.50.3, providing optimistic execution and voting extensions for future protocol releases. It is recommended that the network adopt specific parameter settings.
