Glassnode: The proportion of inactive Bitcoin supply in a year has fallen to an 18-month low
According to data tracked by blockchain analysis company Glassnode, the percentage of Bitcoin circulating supply that was last moved on-chain at least a year ago has dropped to its lowest level since October 2022.
On Monday, 12.95 million BTC (equivalent to 65.84% of BTC's circulating supply) remained unchanged for over a year, the lowest percentage since October 2022. In mid-January this year, nearly 12 spot ETFs were listed in the US, and this indicator once exceeded 70%, but has been declining ever since.
Since late December last year, the proportion of BTC circulating supply that has remained unchanged for at least two years has dropped from 57.4% to 54%. (CoinDesk)
