Former Cred exec indicted for wire fraud, other charges
Three former executives of the bankrupt cryptocurrency lending institution Cred have been accused of conspiring to commit wire fraud, bank fraud, and engaging in illegal financial transactions. Cred co-founder and former CEO Daniel Schatt, former CFO Joseph Podulka, and former Chief Capital Officer James Alexander were charged by the US Attorney's Office for the Northern District of California. Schatt and Podulka were reportedly arrested and made their first appearance in a San Francisco court.
