Due to the decrease in Ethereum network gas fees, ETH destruction has dropped to the lowest point of the year
The daily amount of ETH burned on the Ethereum network has dropped to a new low for the year, mainly due to the recent decrease in average gas fees. Currently, gas fees are hovering between 5 and 10 gwei. The decrease in network fees has led to a reduction in the amount of ETH being burned. Last Sunday, the amount of ETH burned on Ethereum was only 610, the lowest for this year. In contrast, the daily amount of ETH burned in the first four months of this year remained above 2500-3000 ETH. (The Block)
