Cosmos Hub Community "Gaia v16 Software Upgrade" Proposal Voting will end on May 10
On May 8th, the Cosmos Hub community is voting on the "Gaia v16 software upgrade" governance proposal, which will end on May 10th. This version introduces the following new features: ICA controller submodule IBC, rate limiting module (with initial rate limits outlined in proposal 890), IBC fee module, ICS epochs (part of ICS v4.1.0). After governance approval, the relevant binary files for Gaia v16.0.0 will need to be updated and submitted to Cosmos Hub, a process that will take approximately two weeks.
In addition, according to the announcement from Upbit supporting the Cosmos network's "Gaia v16" upgrade, Upbit will suspend network deposits and withdrawals on May 15th and resume them once the network upgrade is stable.
