The governance proposal for Sei V2 upgrade is now open for on-chain voting, and if approved, the mainnet upgrade will take place next Monday
PANews reported on May 21 that Jay, co-founder of Sei Labs, announced on the X platform that the governance proposal for the Sei V2 upgrade has opened for on-chain voting. If approved, the mainnet upgrade will take place next Monday, May 27. Upon review, the current proposal has a 100% approval rate, and voting will end on May 26.
Previously, Sei announced that the V2 upgrade plan would be launched in three phases, aiming to introduce the first highly scalable parallelized EVM. The V2 upgrade will be divided into three stages: governance, Alpha release, and V2 readiness.
