Layer 2 network Plume Network completes $10 million seed round of financing, led by Haun Ventures
Layer 2 network Plume Network, which focuses on on-chain real-world assets (RWA), has raised $10 million in seed funding led by Haun Ventures. Other participating investors include Galaxy Ventures, Superscrypt, A Capital, SV Angel, Portal Ventures, and Reciprocal Ventures. Plume Network co-founder and CEO Chris Yin said that the company began negotiations with investors in April and ultimately raised four times more funds than planned, ending the financing in early this month. Plume Network had previously raised $1.6 million through Simple Agreement for Future Equity (SAFE) and Token Convertible Securities financing rounds, with the final amount of the round being $2 million, part of which is the $10 million seed funding announced today.
