Apple reportedly reaches agreement with OpenAI to bring ChatGPT to iOS 18
Bloomberg technology journalist Mark Gurman stated in the latest newsletter that Apple (AAPL.O) has reached an agreement with OpenAI to integrate the latter's chatbot ChatGPT into iOS 18, and the partnership is expected to be announced at WWDC 2024. As Apple is not comfortable with having OpenAI as the sole supplier of a major new feature in iOS, it is still trying to reach an agreement with Google to offer Gemini as an option. Earlier this morning, it was reported that Apple plans to integrate AI tools into core applications such as Safari, Photos, and Notes.
