Research: The data persistence of the SRC20 protocol makes it a better choice than BRC20 and Runes
On May 28th, according to a study conducted by consulting firm Universelle, the SRC20 protocol is superior to other protocols running on the Bitcoin network due to its "unparalleled data persistence". The upcoming cost reduction upgrade of the protocol will make SRC20 one of the choices for long-term projects and investments.
The study states that the SRC20 protocol is superior to Runes and BRC20 because it does not require the transfer of inscriptions or the splitting of UTXO. Regarding wallet support, the report notes that although BRC20 and Runes have higher levels of infrastructure and wallet support, the SRC20 protocol is quickly catching up.
