Two BlackRock funds bought IBIT shares in the first quarter of this year
According to documents submitted to the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), two funds managed by BlackRock purchased the company's Bitcoin spot Bitcoin ETF (IBIT) in the first quarter of this year. The BlackRock Strategic Income Opportunities Fund purchased nearly $3.6 million worth of IBIT shares, while the BlackRock Strategic Global Bond Fund purchased $486,000 worth of IBIT shares. At the same time, since its launch in January of this year, BlackRock IBIT has received more fund inflows than other similar products.
