TON: New jUSDT minting will end on June 10

According to official sources reported, TON announced on the X platform that it supports the transition from jUSDT to native USDT on the chain. Currently, there are 316 million USDT in circulation on the TON chain. The following updates have been made:

1. The casting of new jUSDT will stop on June 10, 2024, which is a scheduled event, and all user assets will remain safe;

2. The percentage fee for all outgoing bridged jUSDT transactions on TON Bridge has been cancelled;

3. Outgoing transactions will still be supported as long as there are jUSDT holders;

4. Soon, the TON Foundation will add more liquidity to the jUSDT/USDT pool on DEX.

TON also added that the era of USDT native cross-chain bridges is coming, and users will benefit from the upcoming integration and enhanced features by migrating to the native version of USDT.
