US Congressman Predicts Crypto Law by 2025
Patrick McHenry, the retiring chairman of the House Financial Services Committee, is confident that the FIT21 crypto bill will become permanent policy by 2025. He stated that the bill is now a "consensus product" of the House and cannot be ignored. McHenry vowed that the crypto industry won't have to wait long for U.S. regulations, stating that "crypto law is inevitable" and will be in place within the next year. Despite pushback from the White House, the FIT21 bill received significant bipartisan support and McHenry believes this momentum will carry into the next congressional session.
