Wu Jiezhuang: It’s time for Hong Kong to embrace DAO and incorporate it into Hong Kong law

Hong Kong Legislative Council member Wu Jiezhuang released an article stating that now is the time for Hong Kong to focus on this thriving ecosystem, embrace the opportunities brought by DAO, and position itself as the center of Web3 development. Just like neighboring areas such as Singapore are taking advantage of the opportunities provided by Web3, Hong Kong must also keep up with the latest developments and cultivate the technological seeds that will shape the digital future.

Regarding the current situation and suggestions for the development of DAO in Hong Kong, Wu Jiezhuang stated that it is obvious that Hong Kong's current legal framework has not fully integrated the unique attributes of DAO. If this city wants to become a beacon of blockchain business, it must embark on a journey of change, rewrite legal narratives, and create a hospitable environment for the thriving development of these decentralized entities.
