This is the last resort to protect Linea users. The Linea network remains safe, only third-party dapps are affected. Linea will continue to work closely with the Velocore team and support their next steps. According to previous news, Velocore suffered a hacker attack on zkSync and Linea chain, causing a total loss of about 6.8 million USD in ETH. The root cause of this vulnerability lies in a flaw within Balancer-style CPMM pool contracts.
