200 Bitcoins Moved After 11 Years of Dormancy, Worth About $13.87 Million
As of June 3rd, an entity that was created in 2013 and had eight wallets transferred 200 bitcoins (currently worth $13.87 million) that had been inactive for over 11 years. If sold, the value of these bitcoins has increased by 197,785% since their purchase. These bitcoins were acquired between mid-February and the end of March 2013, when the trading price of each BTC was between $25 and $35. This means that at the time when the BTC price was at its highest, the initial value of these funds was approximately $7,000.
