McDonald's launches 'My Happy Place' metaverse in Singapore
McDonald's, the American fast food chain, has launched "My Happy Place" metaverse in Singapore, allowing locals to create virtual burgers and participate in other activities.
McDonald's Singapore has partnered with Bandwagon Labs, the metaverse division of entertainment media technology company Bandwagon, to create an in-app virtual world for its customers.
According to the announcement, McDonald's has full control over its in-app metaverse. The project will run for a month, from June 6th to July 7th, and its success will determine the deployment or continuation of future services.
