SEC Commissioner Mark Uyeda Advocates Revocation of SAB 121

Mark Uyeda, a commissioner of the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), advocates for the revocation of SAB 121. He believes that the method of publishing the announcement undermines the fundamental checks and balances mechanism designed to prevent excessive administrative control. Despite both parties supporting the resolution to abolish SAB 121, President Biden vetoed the measure.
