Celestia supports the deployment of Arbitrum Orbit chain on the mainnet, allowing developers to use Celestia's data availability for their custom L2 or L3 chains. This integration is supported by Blobstream, a one-way data verification bridge that transfers data streams from Celestia's data availability layer to the Arbitrum Orbit chain.
Blobstream allows the chain to access block space independent of its underlying chain's basic gas fee pricing by verifying Celestia's data root with on-chain light clients on Ethereum L1. Additionally, the integration also has Ethereum fallback functionality, allowing rollups to rely on Ethereum's data availability.
