Investor's $3,200 investment in Iggy Azalea's MOTHER token turned into nearly $9 million
Rapper Iggy Azalea's MOTHER token has performed well on the Solana blockchain, with a market value rapidly reaching $200 million. An early investor turned $3,200 into nearly $9 million. This token was promoted to 8 million fans through Azalea's X account (formerly known as Twitter), attracting widespread attention.
The MOTHER token was launched by the memetic coin platform Pump.Fun, and although it has no actual value proposition, its price has soared due to demand. Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin and Uniswap founder Hayden Adams criticized celebrity tokens, believing that these tokens lack practical use cases. However, Azalea's continued promotion and bold social media interactions have continuously driven up the price of MOTHER, attracting more attention.
