Uniswap Labs hires former Coinbase exec as chief legal officer
Uniswap Labs has hired Katherine Minarik, former legal chief of Coinbase, as its Chief Legal Officer. Just two months prior to her appointment, the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) had indicated that it may take legal action against Uniswap Labs for possible violations of federal securities laws. Minarik previously worked at Coinbase for four years, most recently as Vice President and Deputy General Counsel. She will replace former Uniswap Labs Chief Legal Officer Marvin Ammori. Ammori stated on Monday that he plans to work part-time from November onwards.
