Huatai Securities: The Fed still hopes and may cut interest rates in September-November
Huatai Securities stated that since the May meeting of the Federal Reserve, growth and inflation data have cooled slightly but still have resilience. The market's expectations for interest rate cuts have not changed significantly. It is expected that the FOMC will not significantly deviate from market expectations in its guidance on interest rates in June, but the dot plot may adjust the expected number of interest rate cuts from three to two for the year, and the endpoint of interest rate cuts may be revised upward. The June interest rate meeting is unlikely to cause significant disturbance to market expectations. The Fed's subsequent interest rate cut path mainly depends on future inflation and employment data, and the Fed still hopes and may cut interest rates from September to November.
