Circle CEO: One of the emerging Web3 wallets will explode and grow to a global scale

On June 24th, Circle CEO Jeremy Allaire replied to a netizen on X, stating that the pipeline that intelligently connects all digital wallets globally will be public blockchain and stablecoins, which will unlock highly commercialized global and retail payments. This is before people start doing cool things with smart contracts between all these wallets.

This makes me optimistic that one of the many emerging Web3 wallets will explode and become global in scale, as the utility they provide through connecting to programmable smart contract infrastructure in an open ecosystem will be 10 to 100 times greater than the utility achieved solely through payment functionality.
