Dunamu CEO reappointed as DAXA Chairman

Dunamu CEO Lee Seok-woo has been reappointed as the chairman of the Digital Asset Exchange Association (DAXA). DAXA is an exchange consulting organization that includes five major virtual asset exchanges (Upbit, Bithumb, Coinone, Korbit, and Gopax) and currently leads self-regulation in the virtual asset market. Industry sources revealed on the 25th that CEO Seok-Woo Lee has decided to continue as the chairman of Daksa until the end of this year.

Daksa member companies held a board meeting this morning and unanimously confirmed the renewal plan.

As member companies initially decided to take turns as chairman, it was expected that the chairman would be Jaewon Lee, the CEO of Bithumb. However, due to many tasks remaining until the implementation of the "Virtual Asset User Protection Act" in July, it was decided that CEO Lee, who served as the first chairman when Docsa was launched two years ago, would continue as chairman to ensure the stability of the council.
