  • The lawsuit was filed by Logan Paul in a San Antonio, Texas District Court.
  • Coffeezilla started posting three videos on YouTube in late 2022 about CryptoZoo.

On June 27, YouTuber Stephen Findeisen, popularly known as “Coffeezilla,” was sued by influencer Logan Paul for defamation over videos he made in 2022 about Paul’s failing CryptoZoo non-fungible token ( NFT ) project.

Furthermore, claiming that Findeisen falsely and maliciously accused Paul of running a fraud in relation to a problematic blockchain project named CryptoZoo. The lawsuit was filed in a San Antonio, Texas District Court.

Coffeezilla started posting three videos on YouTube in late 2022 about CryptoZoo . Also, describing it as “Logan Paul’s biggest scam” and accusing the influencer of stealing from his followers. By holding onto their NFT funds without completing the project.

Project Failed to Materialize

Paul asserts that Coffeezilla knowingly left out details in his videos. That would have shown how dedicated he was to the success of CryptoZoo. But how he was tricked by a number of advisors who were supposed to be trustworthy but were really scam artists.

Paul accuses Eduardo “Eddie” Ibanez—who he calls a “charlatan” for lying about his credentials—and Jake Greenbaum—an advisor who was more concerned with seeking personal gain than contributing to the creation of a credible initiative—of being to blame for the project.

Moreover, after giving some thought to suing Findeisen in late 2022, Paul decided to put his energy toward making amends for CryptoZoo with a $1.5 million recovery plan. According to the lawsuit, he spent $1 million buying back the NFTs from January to March. Even though he had made zero money from the project since his efforts had failed to materialize.

Paul is requesting a sum more than $75,000 in damages. Plus interest and legal expenses, and any other sums or remedy that the court deems appropriate.
