Algorithmic crypto trading platform Tread.fi closes $3.5 million funding round
Tread.fi, an algorithmic crypto trading platform founded by a former Morgan Stanley employee, has closed a $3.5 million seed round of funding led by New Form Capital with participation from Aquanow, Varys Capital, GBV Capital, Thanefield Capital and others. David Jeong, CEO and former VP of Quantitative Research at Morgan Stanley, declined to comment on the valuation, but said the round was structured as a Simple Agreement for Rolling Future Equity (SAFE) with a nominal side letter, setting the stage for the next round in Q1 2025.
