Odaily News In a recent letter to House Speaker Mike Johnson and Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries, a bipartisan group of 20 senators proposed an amendment to the 2012 Congressional Knowledge Stop Trading Act to prevent members from trading stocks. U.S. Senator Josh Hawley said at a press conference: Congress should not make money here (the stock
market). There is no reason for members of Congress to profit from information that only they know and other Americans do not know. (Cointelegraph)
