Musk-backed pro-Trump super PAC raises $8.8 million in Q2
On July 16th, it was reported that Joe Lonsdale from Palantir, as well as cryptocurrency billionaires Cameron Winklevoss and Tyler Winklevoss, were major donors to the super PAC supporting Donald Trump. The committee also received support from Elon Musk. According to recent filings with the Federal Election Commission, America PAC raised $8.8 million in the second quarter, spent $7.8 million, and held just under $1 million in cash at the beginning of July.
