Stripe now supports European users to buy cryptocurrencies with its issued cards
Financial service provider Stripe has expanded its cryptocurrency integration to the European market, allowing local customers to purchase cryptocurrencies through credit or debit cards. As reported by the Irish Independent on July 16th, shoppers within the EU can now purchase Bitcoin, Ethereum, and many other cryptocurrencies using cards issued by Stripe. Stripe stated that online merchants can add a "widget" for cryptocurrency purchases on their website, which will handle fees, disputes, and KYC regulatory requirements related to online cryptocurrency transactions. John Egan, Stripe's cryptocurrency director, said that this expansion enables cryptocurrency companies to help European consumers "buy cryptocurrencies quickly and easily."
