Jupiter Releases Ecosystem Token API and Standards
July 25, according to the official news, Jupiter released the ecosystem tokens API and standards, the new API enhances the trading function, can immediately display the tokens from the new market, the relevant tokens will be verified every day, into the trusted list, and subject to rigorous testing by the Jupiter community and users, the new API is built on top of the Metropolis infrastructure. Jupiter will identify imposter tokens posing as names and symbols of popular tokens and remove them from the API, as well as banning certain tokens based on community reports, and symbols of head ecosystem tokens are protected and also improved over time to ensure community safety. The old API will be deprecated in the month leading up to the end of August 2024, and the new API response will be broadly similar to the old one, so hopefully it will be an easy migration.
