138th Ethernet ACDC Meeting: Pectra Devnet 1 is now live
Christine Kim, VP of Research at Galaxy, posted a summary of the 138th Ethernet Core Developer Consensus (ACDC) conference call. This week developers discussed the launch of Pectra Devnet 1, changes to the beacon block body structure and engine APIs, the incorporation of Ethernet Improvement Proposals (EIPs) into Pectra (EIP 7688 and EIP 7495), and updates to PeerDAS and its implementation schedule on the mainnet. Among other things, Pectra Devnet 1 went live on July 23, but the network was unstable.EF Developer Operations Engineer Parithosh Jayanthi said that the Erigon client experienced problems early on after Devnet launched. Subsequent EIP 7702 transactions broadcast on Devnet caused the network to split into three states. Developers are working on debugging the client and resolving the chain splitting issue.
