Upland Summer Games: Speed Champions Team Contest
In the spirit of the Summer Olympics, we’re bringing you the ultimate racing showdown in Upland! We’re thrilled to announce the Upland Summer Games, a one week team contest in Track Hero, where teams of three will compete for the fastest times.
Just like the athletes of the Olympics, you’ll need speed, strategy, and teamwork to claim victory. The stakes are high, and the rewards are even higher: a prestigious badge and custom team “track suits” for the winning squad.
Stade de France
To celebrate the Summer Olympics in Paris we are temporarily hosting Track Hero at the iconic Stade de France.
The Stade de France, located in Saint-Denis, just north of Paris, is France’s national stadium. Renowned for hosting major international sporting events, including the 1998 FIFA World Cup Final, it will also be a prominent venue for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris making it not just significant in the real world, but also an iconic piece of the Upland landscape and history.
Speed Champions
Speed champions is a team based contest where teams will race daily for top scores! For this contest you will need to Form a team of three players. Choose your teammates wisely to create a balanced and competitive squad and you will need to work together to put up the best time possible.
The contest officially kicks off on Monday, July 29th at 9 AM PT and concludes on Monday, August 5th at 9 AM PT. To ensure each player is truly controlling their runner, we will only count times from staked raceswhere all team members are participating in the same race at the same time.
Each day, we will select the fastest individual race from each team, based on the combined times of all three team members racing simultaneously. The top five fastest combined team times will earn points daily. At the end of the contest, the team with the most points on the Speed Champions Leaderboard will be crowned the Speed Champions!

Disruptors
Disruptors are available for teams to use strategically against opponents, so make sure to use them wisely for a competitive edge. Rally the Upland community to support your team by watching the races live in 3D, and encourage them to use disruptors against your opponents to give your team the upper hand.
Remember, only spectators in the stadium can use disruptors. The more spectators you have supporting your team, the better your chances of disrupting your opponents and gaining a competitive edge.
