U.S. Government Transferring $2 Billion in BTC May Just Be a Routine Funding Transfer: Analysts
Chain analyst @ai_9684xtpa said in a post on the X platform that the US government has transferred $2 billion in BTC to a new address to store some of the tokens (69,369 in total) seized by the Silk Road on 2020.11. The last operation was four months ago, and the current operation may be a sale, or it may just be a regular transfer of funds, as there was also a wallet transfer operation on April 02, and it remains to be seen how the situation will continue. There was also a wallet transfer on 02 April, so we will have to wait and see what happens next.
