Trump's friend: Trump has been interested in cryptocurrency for the past two years
The Learning Annex founder and self-proclaimed long-time friend of former US President Donald Trump, Bill Zanker, revealed in an interview that Trump has been interested in cryptocurrency for the past two years. Zanker explained that two years ago, he first proposed the idea of issuing NFTs to Trump, but Trump was initially hesitant. It wasn't until December 2022 when Zanker proposed the idea again that Trump agreed. This sparked Trump's curiosity about cryptocurrency, prompting him to inquire about how Ethereum works. Zanker mentioned that Trump had told a citizen that he thinks cryptocurrency is good but doesn't like the idea of it all flowing out of the country. He also said that the idea of accepting cryptocurrency donations was proposed by Trump.
