Gene Sperling, Biden's top economic adviser, to join Harris campaign
Gene Sperling, senior economic advisor to US President Biden and former board member of Ripple Labs, will leave the White House and join Vice President Harris' 2024 presidential campaign team. Biden announced this personnel change on August 5th. Sperling has been a senior advisor to the Biden administration since 2021, previously serving in the Clinton and Obama administrations, and joining the Ripple board in 2015. Former member of the Binance Global Advisory Council, David Plouffe, will also support Harris' campaign.
